Baby Skunk Cards

I received a custom order yesterday to create two Skunk cards for a customer's sister who is having twins. They do not know if they are boy's or girl's so I had to keep the cards gender neutral. I thought these came out super cute and she loves them too!

My Creative Time: Throwback Thursday Challenge #4

For this his week's challenge Emma wanted us was to create a scrapbook layout of any size using the Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge. I am very happy with the cartridge choice since I just purchased it not to long ago.

I decided to use the watermelon from the cartridge and create a bright and fun layout with lots of pink and green! I am super happy with they way this layout turned out. I may still add a few sparkly touches but other than that it is ready for photos!!

"Howdy" Cowgirl Layout

So my favorite colors are pink and brown and when I saw this cute cowgirl paper I just had to get it!! I started this layout a few days ago. The first page seem to take forever and the second page was a breeze. I tend to scrapbook here and there when I can find the time, like most of us I'm sure.
Hope y'all like it is much as I do.

Birthday Girl Layout

So I had a request from a blogger viewer that I post some layouts like the ones I sell on Etsy with photos. Here is a layout that I finished today. This one is pretty close to the Etsy layouts just without the ribbon. I really did want to use ribbon but my photos were not working for me. This is of my middle daughter at the age of 6. She is now 9 and my camera skills are a little better then they were then. I had lots of closeups that the ribbon would have covered up something important. I will try another layout with the ribbon so she can get a better idea.

I truly love this layout and I am sad to see this paper from Close To My Heart disappearing soon. I have almost ran out of it so I better order more before it's gone for good!

Wild Thing Layout

Here is another layout using Ki Memories Wild Life collection. Once again i used Create-a-Critter. I just can't seem to get enough of this cartridge. All those little critters are just to darn cute!!

I used my Gypsy to create this little girl. On the cartridge she is facing the to the left and I wanted her to face to the right. So in my Gypsy I fliped her and sized her at 5". I also used the Gypsy to weld the title together.

Sweet Treats Layout

I am super happy with they way this layout looks. It is so bright and cheery that it makes me want to head to an ice cream shop and have some yummy ice cream!!

I designed my title page in my Gypsy one night in bed and then completed it a few days later. Gotta love the portability of the Gypsy!! You can see in the photo above how it looked in my Gypsy. I started off with creating the scalloped circle which is actually a flower from the Sweet Treats cartridge. I ended up sizing it at 10..76 x 10.18". I did not want the inside cuts of the flower so used the new Hide Contour feature to take those out.

Next I created the photo mats (just for looks, I did not cut those out with my Cricut), title and ice cream cone. The ice cream cone which is also from Sweet Treats is cut out at a height of 5". My Title is from Don Juan and is welded and cut out at a height of 1.82"

My second page was not created on my Gypsy. I just kind of through it together on what would look best with the first page. I cut my cupcake out at 4" just using my Cricut Expressions.

My Creative Time: Throwback Thusday Challenge #2

For this weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge we were to create a project using the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge and the colors Brown, Blue and Red. I was having a hard time with this one because of the colors and trying to decided which image would work well with them. My final project came out pretty good. I decided to use the sandcastle, sea shells and the title Summer. I had to through in another neural color to help balance things out so I used Colonial White as my background and then just a bit of pattern paper from Close To My Heart's Animal Cookies paper packet.

For bottom boarder I simply tore and layered the Dutch Blue, Bamboo, and Chocolate cardstock. To make the sand look more like sand I sponged on some Desert Sand Ink.

I had to add just a bit of bling to my page so I stickled the sun on the title "Summer".

Natural Beauty Scrapbook Page

I have been wanting to do a layout using the cute little owl from the Create-a-Critter cartridge for quite sometime. I only ended up doing a one page layout at the moment because I ran out of the cloud paper from Close To My Heart. I will have to order some more to make the other page. Or I might just leave it as is and frame it. Not sure yet.
This page was pretty simple to make. I had the cloud paper as my background. Then I tore some green leafy pattern paper from Close To My Heart's new paper packet called Splendor. I layered that with Topiary cardstock to create grass. I added pop dots for dimension.

For the tree I just hand cut the trunk and then ran it through my Cuttlebug. The branch is from Create-a-Critter. I also ran that through my Cuttlebug to make it more tree like. After embossing the tree I took my Brown Bag stamp and inked up the tree.
