Information on The Bubel/Aiken Foundation:
The Bubel/Aiken Foundation was created by Clay Aiken in 2003 to serve children with special needs by creating, implementing, and funding programs of inclusion in the social, educational, recreational, vocational, and community settings. The desegregation of programs, jobs, services, and educational opportunities will benefit children with and without special needs. The Bubel/Aiken Foundation envisions a world where young people with special needs are totally immersed in all life has to offer.
Clay Aiken, co-founder of The Bubel/Aiken Foundation was appointed U.S. Fund for UNICEF Ambassador in 2004. Most recently September 5, 2006 it was announced in a press release from The White House that the President intends to appoint Clayton Aiken, of North Carolina to be a Member of the President's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
