Tinker Bell Birthday Card

My daughter and I created this card for my dear friend's daughter's 8th birthday. My oldest, Ashleigh 13 yrs, created Tinker Bell using my Cricut Expressions while I created the 6x6 card using a sketch. Of course I can seem to find the sketch right not but you can get the idea from the card.

So Happy Layout (8th Birthday)

I created this layout for a display for an Open House I am doing at a customer's house this weekend. I wanted to showcase the Spring papers featured in our Spring 2009 Idea Book along with some fun accessories and a few techniques.

For the techniques I used the Cocoa stamp pad and sponge for distressing all the edges of the papers to create a soft look. I also used the Create-a-Shade paint on the large white flower to make to give it a pearly look. It if very difficult to photograph that, but trust me it looks great! To add dimension I popped up the three 4 x 6 photos. Again that does not show well in the photograph.

My Sticker Organizer

Over the weekend I went out and bought the Clip It Up organizer to help me with my sticker addiction (plus I needed up us my coupon before it expired). My hubby got it all put together last night and this morning I decided to start organizing. Well, I did it that but now I think I need the top tier and a whole other base unit in order to get everything organized. I still have a box full of stickers and that does NOT included all the Disney ones I have.

Birthday Cards

Here are the two cards that my Hostess Club created this month. We would have done three cards but I was having a serious card blockage this month. I think it was all the car travel we did with our Disneyland trip. LOL

We used Close To My Heart's Daydream Paper Packet along with Cupcake Sprinkles stamp set. To ehance the cupcakes I used Liquid Pearls in Petal Pink (top card) and Stickles in Cotton Candy(bottom card). I think both cards turned out pretty cute!!

Back from Disneyland!!

I'm back from Disneyland!! We had a wonderful time but I'm glad to be back home. Now it's time to unpack and start scrapbooking the 590 photos I took. AHHHHH!!
