MIA For Awhile

I have been MIA for awhile and I am so sorry. I have been beyond busy with Etsy orders that I can't even see straight!! It's a good thing, just have not had much time for anything else in my life. I am behind on decorating and baking for the holiday's. Haven't even thought of what I am going to do for this year's Christmas cards. School will be out in a week and I have no idea what I am going to do to keep 4 kids happy for a week while we wait for Christmas to arrive!! Should be an interesting December.

Busy, Busy, Busy!!

I have been super busy this summer with Etsy orders!! Unfortunately that means my blog has been on the back burner. Sorry about that. :(

Busy...busy...busy

OMG!! I am so sorry for my lack of posting lately. I have been busy, busy, busy with a sick husband, sick kids and several orders from my Etsy shop. I am so happy that my shop has really taken off just this past month. My largest order was for a 40th Birthday Party. She wanted a banner, water bottle labels, gift tags, cupcake toppers, and place cards. It was so much fun to create for her and she LOVES my work!! So I though I would share what I created for her.

Hand-stamped Roller Skate Invitations

Sorry I have been MIA for the past few days, I have been working on a customer order of roller skate Invitations. These are different from my other ones. The roller skate is a stamp instead of a paper piecing. Making this invitation a little less expensive than the paper pieced one. Ticket to Ride

Here is a really simple layout I created today. Perfect for a day at the amusement park. I used two cartridges for this layout, Summer Vacation and Robotz. Enjoy!

Trip 2 the Beach

Alright here is my next layout ready for photos of a recent or past beach trip. For this layout I used Bo Bunny's beach collection (sorry I do not know the exact name), Bazzill textured cardstock and of course my new Cricut cartridge, Summer Vacation.

The Summer Vacation cartridge does not come with layering features so I ended up using my Gypsy's hide couture feature to help with they layering effects. A few of the pieces I just cut them out twice and trimmed off what I did not need then paper pieced them together. I did not like the wheels on the car and trailer so I just used a circle punch. The title to may layout is my favorite piece. This one took 4 cuts and a little creative tearing to come up with this look.
