Halloween Treat Bag

It's Friday so that means it's time for another fun Halloween project!! This week I decided to make a treat bag that my kids can give out at their Halloween class parties at school. These would also be fun to make up for neighbors or coworkers.

These are super simple to make!

Take 4" x 4" black cardstock (score at 2" then fold in half and staple to bag) . Then punch our 2" x 4" green cardsock with a fun Halloween boarder punch. Layer on the 1" x 4" Patten Paper and attach some black ribbon. Tie a knot then add a stamped sentiment and your done!!

Wild Thing

Friday's Halloween Project (a day late):

Here was a quick page I put together using Close To My Heart's Hooligans Paper Packet and My Stickease. No cricut for this page, which was really weird for me to do. I always use my cricut for most of my projects.

Be on the look out for more Halloween projects next Friday, October 15th!

BOO! Banner

Thank you so much for waiting! Here is the BOO banner I have been working on. I am super happy with they way it turned out. This looks so cute in person!!

To create the banner portion of this project I used the TAG feature on page 46 from ONCE UPON A PRINCESS. The main banner was cut out at 4 1/2". When I went to cut the inner tag (the shift feature) it was way to small for what I wanted so I ended up cutting those out at 5". I then created the paper flower using two strips of 2" x 12" of pattern paper. These where accordion folded and attached together to make one long strip. I simply connected the two ends together and pushed them down to create the pleated flower. I found this idea on someones blog but I can't seem to find it. If anyone wants a tutorial on this I will see if I can make a video of one.

Next I cut out the word BOO in black at 4" using the STORYBOOK cartridge. Also the shadow at 4" using a olive green cardsock. To make my letters sparkle I covered the black letters in Martha Stewart's Black Onyx fine glitter. LOVE this stuff!! Finally I attached it all together added a couple of bows from some fun ribbon from Michales and it was done!!

Halloween Night Card

It's getting close to that time of year, HALLOWEEN!! To honor my favorite holiday I will be showcasing a Halloween project every Friday from now until the Friday before Halloween. If you have any spooky requests please send them to ElishaCarter@msn.com with the subject stating "Halloween Request". I will do my best to get in each and every request granted.

My first Halloween project is this fun gate fold card using the Cricut cartridge, Mini Monsters. I love how this card came out! I am not sure the pictures do it justice.

The base of this card is a 5 1/2" by 12" piece of cardstock. It is then scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10" using my Scor-Pal. Once scored and folded this will be your standard A2 size card. Then I cut out 4 pieces of pattern paper at 1 3/4" x 5 1/4". The center pattern paper is cut out 3 3/4" x 5". The the white cardstock which I cut out at 3 1/4" x 4 3/4". Last my cute skeleton is cut out at 4" using my Cricut. Put everything together and you have a cute Halloween card ready to give to a teacher, friend or family.

Happy Halloween!
