Sweet Pickin's

Here is a fun "sparkly" layout I did for a design team submission. Sadly I was not chosen so I can now show my layout off to all of you. The pictures really do not do this layout justice. There is lots of texture and glitter to this layout. I used of course my Cricut to create the title and yummy strawberries. I used Close To My Hearts textured card stock along with K&Company's Berry Sweet paper collection.

Princess Crown Card

March seems to be the month for Birthdays. Not for our family but for lots of my kids friend's birthdays. I think we have had 5 birthdays this month so far and the month is not quite over yet. My 9 year old daughter went to her best friend's birthday party yesterday. The theme was a Princess Tea Party so of course I had to make a card that went with the theme.
For this card I used the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge along with Bazzil Bling cardstock for the card and Core Color cardstock by Core'dinations. I love the Core'dinations paper when used with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I bough this paper over a year ago and this was the first time to use it. So sad I know. I will be using this paper in more projects!!

"Rock On" Birthday Card

Today was my son's best friends 11th birthday. So I decided to make a "cool" card for him. I am really happy with they way it came out. What do you think? I am not very good at masculine cards since I have only 1 boy and 3 girls. Needless to say the girls win in my house. LOL!
I used Close To My Heart's You Rock paper packet. I just love this paper. You can use it for boys as well as girls and for almost any occasion. I have used it for my daughter's soccer game layouts and I also think it will be perfect for Band Hero pictures. Like I said this is a pretty versatile paper. Anyways back to the card, along with the You Rock paper packet I also used our new Rockin' Top Coats. I LOVE these!! So much fun and easy to use. I also embossed the ROCK ON saying on the front of the card. I use to emboss everything and stopped for a bit. I think it is time to start embossing again.

Meet Gypsy!!

YES, I got on board the Gypsy train!! I know I was not going to get one, didn't think I needed one, but then I was watching a video on My Pink Stamper and just had to get one! I did purchase mine off of HSN. They have a pretty good deal going on with extra goodies and free shipping along with a payment plan (which I took advantage of). I have been playing around with it for a few days (no cutting with my cricut yet) and LOVE IT!! It is SOOO much fun and easy to use. I'm loading my cartridges and creating files like crazy. Now I just need to start cutting! LOL!!

Putt Putt Golf Layout

Last year my husband and I took the three younger kids to a putt putt golf course that I went to as a teenager. I can't believe that it is still there! It has changed a bit since I was a teen. LOL! My hubby and I decided that we would just let the kiddo's play because with five of us playing golf we would take a long time on each hole and the poor people would be waiting forever behind us.

Anyways, we all had a great time and I was excited to get and scrap these photos but I needed to find the perfect paper. I ran across a site called What We Found that sold a Miniature Golf paper kit by Karen Foster. The paper was perfect and I just had to get it! Hope you like what I did with these fun papers!
