"Happy Day" Card

I have not felt very creative today because my house is quite hot, but I knew I wanted to make a card so I pulled out a new paper packet and made this quick card. I used Close To My Heart's new Splendor Paper Packet, Say It in Style stamp set, and Just Because Cricut cartridge. Quick and easy but I thought it was pretty cute.

Cookie Sheet "NOTES" Board

So for this years end of year teacher gift, I made magnetic memo boards using inexpensive cookie sheets from the dollar store. These turned out just to cute! I will have to go back to the store so I can make more of them.

These are very simple to put together. Grab a cookie sheet, paper, supper sticky adhesive, magnets, and embellishments and start creating! For each board I used all Close To My Heart products. For the magnets I did not have anything sturdy enough when taking them on and off the cookie sheet so I just covered them in Stickles. That was my oldest daughter's idea!

A "Stinkin' Cute" Layout

I was going to post this "stinkin' cute" layout yesterday but the winds around here were just horrible. My lighting inside my house is not the greatest so I take photos outside. Today the winds have died down considerably and allowed me to take some quick photos before I am off to another fun filled day of Field Day at school.

As you can see this layout uses the same papers I created the card with along with the cute skunk. Didn't this just turn out adorable? It's even better in person! It's really hard to capture how cute layouts and cards are on camera.

Yet Another Custom Roller Skate Invitation

Are you sick of these yet?

I just received a rush order to create 18 Roller Skate Invitations. She was looking for a card with the colors Orange, Yellow, Blue, Green and a hint of Pink. I though this might be a difficult combination to find but low and behold I had the perfect paper! What do you think?

I just love doing these cards. They always come out so super cute!! This is my first example for my newest customer. I hope she loves it as much as I do!!

Hello Kitty Graduation Card

I can't believe that my youngest child is graduating from Kindergarten at the end of this month! It seems like yesterday that she was starting her first day of school. The year seems to just fly by. To commemorate her fist year of school I thought it would be cute to make her a Graduation card. We are so proud of her!

A Few THANK YOU Cards

These cards are for some wonderful ladies that made our Girl Scout Troop sleep over a huge success! To have enough room for 17 girls and 3 leaders sign these cards I needed to make them larger than normal. I thought that this might be a bit of a challenge but I think they turned out great! I simply used an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of card stock and folded it in half to create a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 card.

The Butterfly card was for the wonder lady that let our girls use her face paint to pain butterflies on each others faces. She was a very brave woman to let them do this. I do fear that some of the face paint might have gotten ruined.

The Latte card was for the gracious lady that let us use her beautiful home for the sleepover. This would have never of happened at any of the leaders house's since they would not be able to fit 13 girls and 3 leaders. She loves her lattes in the morning so I thought this card was perfect for her.

The wind was blowing quit a bit the day I took these photos so that is why there are the ones taken inside and then the ones taken outside with me holding the card and taking a picture with the other hand.

MPS Challenge #5 - Teacher Appreciation Days

Well, I was hoping to get more than three challenges done, but time was not on my side. Here is my last challenge. I made this card for my youngest daughter's Kindergarten teacher. She is such a great teacher that I wanted to make her a special card. Once again I used the Create-a-Critter Cricut Cartridge. I am in love with this one that I can't seem to stop using it. MPS Challenge #12 - "Critter-licious"

Here is my "Critter-licious" layout using my new favorite cartridge, Create-a-Critter! For this challenge you had to create a simple layout or card using some type of animal or critter. My middle daughter and her class are putting on a Three Little Pigs play this Wednesday. I thought this would be perfect for this challenge. Now I just have to wait until Wednesday to take some pictures to put on the layout.
