Cricut Circle Blog Monthly Challenge

The Cricut Circle Blog Challenge this month was to scraplift a project off of the Circle Blog. You have to use at least two Cricut cuts (made lots of those), scraplift a project you have seen on the Circle Blog for your inspiration, and use products from at least two of the Circle Blog Sponsor's.

For my project I wanted to scraplift one of the Your Story Photo Binder projects. I recently purchased my Your Story Photo on HSN and could not wait to get started on this challenge. I decided to scraplift the recipe book.

Here is the one from the Cricut Circle Blog:

Here is my take on the recipe book:

Recipe:
Cricut Imagine
Kate's Kitchen Imagine Cartridge featuring Cosmo Cricket
Bazzill White Cardstock (printed all papers and die cuts)
CTMH Chocolate Stamp Pad (to distress the edges of all of the papers and die cuts)
Your Story Photo Binder
5x7 Your Story Photo Cover
Foam Squares

This is my second project using my new binder and I can't wait to create many more!!

My First YourStory Book: Homecoming

So, I got a new toy from HSN this week. A YourStory Personal Book Binder machine and I absolutely love it!! For my first book I wanted to create something for my oldest daughter. She went to Homecoming early this year with her boyfriend and I thought a mini album would be perfect for this special occasion. I found some awesome paper from Joann's that is perfect plus it is "twilightly" which I love! This only took me about an hour to create and just a few minutes to bind altogether. Here are a just few pictures of the mini album.

Scrapbooking Goals for 2011!!

I am not very good at keeping my scrapbooking goals but I am going to try my hardest to complete these goals before the end of this year. I am so far behind on MY scrapbooking that I hope this post will motivate me and maybe my followers out there.

OK, here are my personal goals for this year in no particular order:

1. Finish my Wedding Album
2. Print out ALL of 2009 Pictures
3. Complete 2009 scrapbook album
4. Finish my 2005 trip to Disneyland album
5. Finish Megan's 1st Year album
6. Catch up on Megan's School Year album

WOW!! That is a lot!! Hopefully I am not asking myself to do to much. I can do if I try to keep my pages simple and not so time consuming. That in itself is tough for me to do because I can spend 2 to 3 hours just on one layout. I am going to post my goals on the side bar of this blog to remind me everyday. When a goal is completed I will be sure to post pictures and mark it off my list.

What are your scrapbooking goals for 2011?
