Butterfly Layout

So have you missed me? I tell ya it has been one thing after another. Things have seem to slow down a bit and I have time to get some scrapbooking done. Today's layout features a new paper packet from Close To My Heart, Wings. I just love the colors and pattern paper that comes in this packet. To order this beautiful paper just click here.

OK, onto my layout. Now it's missing a title but I plan for it to say "Spread Your Wings and Fly". I have not yet decided what Cricut cartridge I want to use for the title. I plan on taking photos of my second oldest daughter. She turned 10yr old  this February and she has the beautiful butterfly shirt that will match perfectly with this paper. Just waiting for some nice weather and for the plants to not look so dead. LOL!!

MY FAVORITE Top 10 Scrapbook Pages of 2010!!

OMG!! I am so so so sorry I have been MIA for so long. I have had two horrible colds, one on Thanksgiving and then again on Christmas. Things have been so hectic around here during the holiday's that I had no time to create anything. 2011 is just around the corner so it's time to get crafting again!! Cricut Circle Weekly Challenge #4: Birthday Sketch Challenge

I am finally back to scrapping again!! Woohoo!! My back is feeling better, not 100% yet but enough that I can sit long enough to create a layout or two. So this weeks challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog is to create a Layout, Card, or Altered project using the SKETCH provided. The project must have a BIRTHDAY THEME and include BUTTONS in some way.

Friday's Halloween Project (a day late):

Here was a quick page I put together using Close To My Heart's Hooligans Paper Packet and My Stickease. No cricut for this page, which was really weird for me to do. I always use my cricut for most of my projects.

Trick or Treat Layout

Where did this week go? So sorry this weeks Halloween project did not go up sooner today. Been busy today with landscaping and volunteering at school. OK, on to this weeks project. For this week I did a spooky scrapbook layout using the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge and some retired CTMH paper. I am very happy with they way this layout turned out!

Positively Perfect Day (Wedding layout)

Have you missed me? With back to school, painting, and life itself, I just have not had time to sit down and create stuff. Now that things have settled down I am getting back into the groove of things.

My 10 year wedding anniversary is this Thursday, September 2nd. My goal was to have my wedding album done by then but it's sadly not going to happen. I did have a chance to finish up this layout but I have tons more to do. Now I am out of adhesive! So until I can go shopping for some more, I may just plan pages and scrap them later.

Ticket to Ride

Here is a really simple layout I created today. Perfect for a day at the amusement park. I used two cartridges for this layout, Summer Vacation and Robotz. Enjoy!

Trip 2 the Beach

Alright here is my next layout ready for photos of a recent or past beach trip. For this layout I used Bo Bunny's beach collection (sorry I do not know the exact name), Bazzill textured cardstock and of course my new Cricut cartridge, Summer Vacation.

The Summer Vacation cartridge does not come with layering features so I ended up using my Gypsy's hide couture feature to help with they layering effects. A few of the pieces I just cut them out twice and trimmed off what I did not need then paper pieced them together. I did not like the wheels on the car and trailer so I just used a circle punch. The title to may layout is my favorite piece. This one took 4 cuts and a little creative tearing to come up with this look.
