Baby Girl Card

I created this card for a neighbor that just had a baby girl this past week. Since I love pink and brown so much I thought it would make for a cute baby card. Hopefully she will love these colors too. I used Close to My Heart "More to Adore" paper packet along with Cricut's new cartridge "A Child's Year". I wasn't to sure about purchasing this cartridge but I am so glad I did. I will be sharing more fun projects using this versatile cartridge.

2 CUTE - July BBB Club Layout

This layout is really 2 cute for words!! I like the look of this layout so much that I will have to try it again with different papers and photos. The pictures are of my youngest Maddie at 10 months, she is now 5 years old. I'm just a little behind. LOL Since I was not a picture taking queen back then I just made several copies of the same pictures to finish up the layout. It think it worked out pretty good!

My Father's Day Gift

This year I decided to make my dad a photo cube of Father's Day past. There is one photo in there that is from his birthday but they rest are from Father's Day. To start with I used Close To My Heart My Creations Cube and panted all the sides in a buttercup yellow color. Then I chose Close To My Heart Emporium Paper packet. To tie up the cube I used some Chocolate Waxy Flax and I was done!! My Mom picked it up today to give it to my dad. I sure hope he likes it!!

Every year for Mother's Day my dear husband makes me a wonderful breakfast and serves it to me in bed. This year I decided to cook him breakfast and serve it to him in bed. I made french toast with sausage and his favorite drink Hazelnut Hot Chocolate. My oldest daughter put together his tray and even folded his napkin like a men's dress shirt. Conifer, CO - Scrapbook Retreat

Over this past weekend I went up to Conifer, CO for a scrapbook retreat. I had several Close To My Heart customers/friends up their with me as well as my wonderful mom. She was our cook for the weekend since she does not scrapbook. Of course I did not get much done but enjoyed the time away and look forward to doing another weekend away in the Fall.

Color Me Monday #5

I know it's Friday but here is this weeks Color Me Monday insperation. I did not seem to have any Heavenly Blue cardstock so I ended up using the lighter side of the Twilight Textured Cardstock to add in that lighter color. To create this card I used Close To My Heart's NEW "Wishes" Card Confidence Program. I just love all the new card designs that Jeanette has come up with.
