COUNTRY GIRL Layout

I am finally back making pages!! I was on vacation, then I was helping a neighbor out, got the outside of my house painted, oh and I was out of Cricut mats! Things are now back to normal and I am back in scrapbook mode. My goal this week is to make one layout a day. Like many of you out there finances are tough and I need to make a little $$ on the side. All the layouts I will be posting will be for sale at my Etsy store.

The NEW Cricut Imagine @ Summer CHA

I found this video on youtube. I fell that this one is one of the better videos showing the new Cricut Imagine due to be released September 14th, 2010. I am going to have to save up for this machine as I found it the retail price to be $599.99. Hopefully when it is released it will come out a little cheaper.

Sorry for being MIA

I am so sorry for being MIA lately. I have been painting a neighbors son's bedroom for the past few days. Just been to busy to sit down and do some crafting. Today we are resting since the room is all put together. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to sit down and do some scrapbooking.

Home At Last

I am back home! My BFF and I arrived home lat Sunday night. I spent most of yesterday just trying to get back into the swing of things. We ended up doing over 2,000 miles of driving. Needless to say I am not wanting to get back in a car for awhile. It was a wonderful trip and I would do it again! Now I am ready to sit down and scrapbook our adventure!

It's HOT here in St. George, UT

Back from DISNEYLAND!

WE DID IT!!

We left Friday at 5am and arrived in Disneyland 6 hours latter. Got our 1 day park hopper pass and had a blast! We ended up staying until the park closed and crashed for the night at my BFF's in-laws. Got up today, took a short shower, had breakfast, and hit the road back to St. George, UT. Tonight we are just chillin' and then heading out in the morning to go back home to the families. I do not have my camera cord so I will post a few pictures from our grand adventure once I am home and unpacked.

Hello from Utah!

Well, my BFF and I made it to Utah yesterday after a 12 hour drive from Denver. The drive was pretty uneventful and did not seem like 12 hours at all. Maybe that is because we were able to sit and chat with no kids or husbands interrupting us. Today we are taking it easy. Just saw Eclipse and LOVED it! Now we are at a book store using free Wi-fi to connect back to the world and enjoying yummy coffee. Plus when it is over 100 degrees you want to be inside where there is air conditioning. Tomorrow will be another fun filled day of driving as we have decided to take a spur of the moment trip to California to go to Disneyland for the day! Should be LOTS of fun!! I so can't wait. My hubby and kids will be mad when I get home and they find out what we did.

Signing off for today. Got to go check my facebook page.

Down on the Farm

So I recently did some shopping on Ebay and found some cute scrapbook paper. I though this paper was so cute that I just had to play with it first! I used a few cartridges for this layout, Create-a-Critter (animals), Don Juan (title) and Old West (barn). I also used my Gypsy to hide the faces on the animals so I could use my Critter Faces Medium stamp set from Peachy Keen, and I also used my Gypsy to weld my title together.

RIP ~ 40th Birthday Card

My husband's buddy is having a party for his 40th Birthday. Of course I had to make him a card and it had to be manly and funny. I am not the best at making manly cards. I love pink, flowers, and lots of glitter. All of which is not manly. I recently bought the Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge and saw that it had a tombstone card. What a perfect card for someone turning 40! I did end up adding a little bling to the card but it still looks masculine.

(had to hold the card becuase of the wind)

Cowboy Up!

I just love this layout! The little cowboy is just so adorable.!!
Since I made a cowgirl layout I wanted to create a cowboy one. I used Close To My Heart's Sarsaparilla Paper Pack. It was perfect and gave that cowboy feel to the page. For my cowboy I used the Paper Doll Dress Up and cut him out at 6". I chose the blackout feature for the body so I could use Peachy Keen's Everyday Character Face Assortment stamp set. Since he was so big I used the largest stamp in set set. For the title and boots I used the Old West Cricut cartridge. Just got this cartridge a few days ago and I love it!! I hope to be able to use this cartridge quite a bit.

Sunny Days Layout

As soon as our Wal-mart received the new Cricut Lite cartridges I made my dear hubby go out and get me one. I decided to go with the Celebrate with Flourish cartridge because I felt it had the most bang for my buck. It has lots of great images for the entire year! I made this layout with a retired paper packet from Close To My Heart. I am very sad that I did not buy more of this paper when I had a chance. It is so cute and was perfect for the images I chose.
